As Cyber Essentials has matured, we have found that the standards required to pass it have become much higher. In real terms this is a good thing, because in our view it means Cyber Essentials really does set a good benchmark for an organisation. It's not just a bit of box-ticking - it  really does confirm that IT and cybersecurity are well managed.

The above said, it's not an easy journey to complete without a lot of hands-on IT experience, which is where Maple will come in. We can put our clients in a position to pass Cyber Essentials and complete the documentation before handing the assessment off for an independent certification.
