Windows 11 has a cleaner look and smarter tools under the hood, but many users still rely heavily on the mouse. If you want to move faster and get more done, keyboard shortcuts are your best friend.
Here are 10 of the most useful shortcuts for power users whether you’re managing multiple desktops or digging through dozens of windows.
1. Windows Key + E
Opens File Explorer instantly. One of the fastest ways to access your files without clicking around.
2. Windows Key + V
Opens Clipboard History. You’ll need to enable this in settings, but once it’s on, you can copy multiple things and paste from history, huge productivity booster.
3. Windows Key + Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow
Switch between virtual desktops. Perfect for keeping work and personal tasks separate or managing complex projects.
4. Windows Key + Shift + S
Take a partial screenshot with Snip & Sketch. Super useful for grabbing part of the screen without using Snipping Tool.
5. Windows Key + L
Lock your PC. Quick way to secure your screen when stepping away especially in a shared office or remote environment.
6. Ctrl + Shift + Esc
