Microsoft NCE changes for January 2024

Microsoft is taking an important step towards the retirement of the legacy CSP platform. 

Starting in January 2024, Microsoft will begin the automatic migration of all renewing commercial customers to NCE. The Microsoft-led migration will occur on a customer's subscription renewal date in 2024 (or later if on multi-year commitment) and the resulting NCE subscription will be set to an annual commitment term, with the same billing plan and seat count that the customer had in legacy CSP.

In line with NCE terms and conditions, there are 168 hours after the migration is complete to change the subscription term and/or quantity or cancel the subscription.
